Call For Submission – Art and the Korean American Church

Interesting project up ahead for Spring 2009 — the fledgling Journal for Korean American Ministries and Theology wants to do an issue on Arts and the Korean American Church next spring and yours truly has been recruited to help develop some content.

Two people are also serving as guest editors for this issue, Katie 정희 Lee (a student at  Candler School of Theology, Emory) and Henry Kim, a professor from SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design).

What we’re looking for are thoughts, demonstrations, examples, and even critique of the arts (music, dance, visual, literary, etc.) and their use in the Korean American church context. If you are someone, or know of someone or something that could be a contribution to this issue, please leave a comment below. We’ll be receiving submissions until March 1, 2009.

Thanks! And hope this will provide some great conversation for you and your church!
