Keller and Franke – What Is Missional And What It Looks Like

Tim Keller from Redeemer Church for the Exponential Conference. Discussing Acts 1:8 – Part 02.

Dr. John Franke, Author and Professor at Biblical Seminary, Hatfield, PA, discusses how the gospel relates to culture.

Oh yes, and one more video that I think is emblematic of the pushback on emerging and missional thinking: What do you think?

  1. Thanks for these clips. Keller preaches about a 45-min. subway ride from where I live. I’ve been to Redeemer but haven’t heard him yet. Thanks again for sharing.

  2. Jason,

Check out the link on Tim Keller’s name which will take you to DJ Chuang’s page on Keller which may very well be the most comprehensive resource on the web regarding him. I wish I were in NYC, but alas, I’ll have to settle for whatever the Internet can provide.

Biblical Seminary has launched a completely online Certificate in Missional Theology. Here’s the link:

  4. Thanks PSmith for the link. This is fascinating that a certificate in missional theology can be taken digitally…I’m still chewing on the mere medium, but it’s definitely needed more in our churches.

BTS is trying some new things and ought to be commended. Of course I’m a little biased b/c I’ll be teaching for them next Spring!

  6. I hope you would not mind if I posted a part of this on my univeristy blog?
